Refund policy
Returns
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. We use the tracking number delivery date as date of delivery. If tracking is not working or has surpassed its time frame with the shipping carrier and/or no longer visible for being tracked, the 30 days has surpassed and you wont be eligible for a refund.
To be eligible for a return, your item/s must be in the same condition that you received them in, unworn and unused, with tags, and in original packaging with no modifications. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Thread "bolt prep" application and installation of bolts will unfortunately result in the inability to return the item for a refund.
All discontinued stock clearance items will not be refundable, returned or exchanged unless accepted by J.A.B Titanium Bolts.
To process a return, you can contact us at j.a.btitaniumbolts@gmail.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. If your return is accepted and is not the fault of us (J.A.B Titanium Bolts) you (the customer) will be required to pay for all returning shipping costs and charges associated with returns of goods and items purchased from J.A.B Titanium Bolts
Please note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. We also suggest customers paying return shipping to add tracking to their return parcel. J.A.B Titanium Bolts are not responsible for any loss or damage on your returning items and recommend customer/s retain proof of lodgement.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you have received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and correct the issue. Please retain the shipping material and packaging if damage has occurred during transit/shipping.
All of our products are able to be torqued to the bicycle or bicycle component manufactures specifications and must be installed using a torque wrench. Breakages due to over tightening, the use of incorrect or worn installation tools are beyond our control and as such will void warranty. Do not use ball point allen keys for installation, this will also void warranty. Likewise, evidence that bolt prep (copper based grease) was not used in the installation process with some of our parts, will also void any claim for warranty. Some parts may not require bolt prep, please contact us to confirm before placing an order. If you (the customer) are unsure if you have the correct or adequate tools, or are unsure how to correctly install any items from, J.A.B Titanium Bolts, seek professional assistance by a qualified bicycle mechanic. Please ensure the items purchased through us (J.A.B Titanium Bolts) that have notes regarding installation process such as items that must be installed by a qualified bicycle mechanic and a mechanical inspection check must be adhered to. If there is an issue with any of our items upon installation, we may ask for receipt and/or proof that the mechanic is a qualified bicycle mechanic.
If an item from J.A.B Titanium Bolts is deemed by us (J.A.B Titanium Bolts) to be defective or not as described and a replacement item is required, J.A.B Titanium Bolts cannot guarantee an identical replacement will be provided. In addition, some products may display differently in colour, shape or design due to devices our products are viewed and/or purchased on. In addition, the colour shown on the item page may be an older or newer version of the item and you the customer can contact us for a photo of the actual current item if in stock. There may be slight colouring differences in shade and potential for a non-identical design, kits are complied in batches and individual bolts are coloured periodically and you may receive varying shades due to stock from different batches - please contact us if you would like to check your order can be of the same/similar colour. For example, a bolt replacement may have a lighter shade than other items purchased, item/s may have a slightly more rounded edge on the head of the bolt or could be a newer or older version of the item. PVD colour coated products often display a line/mark around the threaded part of the bolt. This is due to the coloring process and will not be accepted for return. Please contact us if you would like to know more about the markings prior to your purchase.
Oilslick and rainbow products will not be identical in colour or pattern and will vary due to colouring process. Anodized blue and bronze titanium products are most prone to and widely known for fade like appearance, this is uncontrollable. If fade like appearance occurs with your items, please use a dry microfibre cloth and rub the bolt head firmly to clean the bolt head - this is usually quite effective. With all of our products we recommend that you only touch the thread of bolts and always use nitrile gloves so oil from your skin does not risk affecting the colour. The items in each Mountain Bike Ti Bolt Kit are compiled in batches to keep the colour the same in each kit. Cherry Red coloured items are known to 'chip the coating' easily, extreme care is required to install and remove these items to retain the colour. If consistent removal and installation is required of these items the coating will not last very long. Some Cherry Red items may already have some minor paint defects, this includes paint chips/flakes and or inconsistent coating - This is why they are discontinued.
It is a customers responsibility to check and ensure your bicycle frame, component or product manufacturer approves the use and compatibility of our titanium products with their product.
Due to the nature of all disciplines of cycling, there are inherent risk/s involved and as such, J.A.B Titanium Bolts assumes no responsibility of injury or death resulting in the use of any of our products. Before and after every ride customers must check their bike over or by a qualified bicycle mechanic for correct torque setting of each of our products installed along with a visual inspection of any loose or damage items.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like used products, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items. This includes but is not limited to all discontinued stock clearance items.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is contact us to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, we’ll refund the price you paid for that particular item, but please note that we don’t refund any shipping costs originally charged and we deduct any promotional savings (e.g. if you purchased 2 items as part of a "buy 2 items, get 10% off", and return one of them, we will refund the difference as though you just purchased the 1 item). Any accepted return on any item/s that were purchased as part of a bulk buy discount will be subject to a re-calculation of that discount and will be reflected in the amount of refund given and may incur a 10% re-stocking fee of the total amount.
Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
